Conan All Chromium - Series II
   Comic Images - 1994

Notes:  A full parallel set of HoloChromes was produced and distributed about
3-4 cards per case. Thanks much to LMA, Dave Kissell, Jim, Steve Kavalecs, 
Scott Kettman, Jim Goodwin, Eric Padget, Steve Yoder, Kristin Benoit, Andrew 
Holderness, and David Sire for updates!

Variations are seen in "textures" for a portion of the cards. This is a tricky issue 
because some sources considered this to be a 100-card set including 10 variations, 
a fairly common set composition for Comic Images -- but few people agreed on 
which 10 were represented, because of the subtleties. It got a  lot better now that 
David acquired an uncut sheet of 107 (!) holochromes and was able to confirm 
17 variants or or cards that showed up twice on the sheet: 4 7 11 14 15 22 27 28 
32 41 43 45 49 52 55 73 83.

Six of these cards (22 27 28 41 52 73) are fairly frequently reported and identified 
from box breaks, but a full 19 were speculated. After I first developed a list of 10 
variations with Jim Goodwin's help (including 32 55 60 83 in addition to the 
first six, Eric Padget came along and reported three more (4 7 15). Two of these 
seem to be "obvious" variations and one of them is subtle. And Steve reported  
another five (11 14 43 45 49) and Kristin one more (53).

Quite possibly the two that were not on David's sheet (53 60) were instead caused 
by production changes or from two intended-to-be-identical images on different 
printing plates. Indeed, Andrew found another whole group with color variations 
that were different enough to be proposed as variants. This can happen from 
different choices of ink during printing, and may apply to the entire card set if all 
cards were on the plates used with "variant" ink. So along with the double-print-
run (twice on the uncut sheet) cards, I show another list of reported "color" variations.
