   Leaf - 1988

Notes:  In some ways this series could be called a re-issue of the 1973 Donruss 
Baseball Super Freaks series. Cards 1-71 contain text and cards 72-99 contain a 
4x7 part puzzle. But avariation for most of the cards in the range 14-53 form 
another copy of the same puzzle, making the complete set 127 cards. Thanks much 
to Tere for the corrections! And Darrell Warner reports that a few of the cards 
have been sighted with blank backs, so let me know if anybody else found a 
significant number of them. In the meantime we assume those were printing-error 
cards, but if there are enough of them, completists will want to collect them!
